Mike Jorstad

I start this page with the photo of my friend, Mike.   Mike is a great friend, that I have known since 1976. As my advanced office printing teacher in high school, back in 1976-77, and later on, my boss at the Fort Morgan Printing, (he was the proprietor of the business.) Mike has a lot of knowledge and experience to share with anyone.  His hobbies and passions outside of work, such as fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family gives him a wealth of resources to tell some great stories from.  It's always great to have a friend like Mike who can share and help us appreciate the good times.  These few days has been great to see Mike while vacationing back home in Colorado. Thank you Mike for being such a great friend, teacher, and boss.

SHADOWS OF TWO FRIENDS

The shadows of the two friends sitting on a bench downtown,Fort Morgan, are stretched out before them, elongated by the low angle of the sun. The shadows mirror the relaxed and contented poses of the friends, as they chat and enjoy each other's company in the peaceful setting. The scene is a snapshot of a timeless friendship, captured in the fleeting form of shadow on the pavement.

THE END OF THE TRAIL

The end of the trial can feel bittersweet, like the end of a vacation in Fort Morgan, Colorado with family and friends, where despite the fun and memories made, it's time to return home and resume the routines of daily life.

As the end of the trial approaches, it can be likened to a wagon wheel resting amidst the modern surroundings of a street and a modern home, which stand in stark contrast to the sights and sounds the wheel had witnessed in the past, reminding us of the passing of time and the development of society.
